Permanently erase everything OhLinks stores about you, including all your links and click data.
Delete your account
You can permanently delete your OhLinks account at any time. We honor RGPD/GDPR Article 17 (right to erasure) — when you delete your account, all data tied to your account is erased irreversibly within seconds, no waiting period.
What gets deleted
- Your user account (email, name, password hash, OAuth identifiers).
- All your smart links — they immediately stop resolving (visitors get a 404 page).
- All your geo overrides and per-link preview metadata.
- All your custom domains — they immediately stop resolving.
- All your click events (analytics history).
- Your app config (iOS bundle ID / Android package, etc.).
- Your active sessions and refresh tokens.
- Your subscription record (cancellation with Stripe is a separate step — see below).
What's not deleted
- Stripe records are not deleted by us — they live in your Stripe customer portal. Stripe retains them for tax/audit reasons (typically 7 years). To request Stripe to also erase your customer record, follow Stripe's data deletion guide.
- Application logs older than 30 days may contain anonymized references to your user ID — they roll off automatically.
How to delete
- Open Dashboard → Settings.
- Scroll to the Danger zone at the bottom.
- Click Delete my account.
- A confirmation dialog asks you to type your email address to confirm — this prevents accidental deletion.
- Click Confirm.
You're immediately logged out. The next attempt to log in fails (the account no longer exists).
Cancel a paid subscription first
If you have an active paid subscription, cancel it before deleting your account to make sure you're not billed further. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Subscription → Manage to open the Stripe customer portal.
Need help?
If something goes wrong (you can't access your dashboard, lost your 2FA, etc.), contact support and we'll process the deletion manually after verifying your identity.
