Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an OhLinks account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. The service

OhLinks is a smart-link platform that lets you create short URLs that route visitors to App Store, Google Play, or web destinations based on device, country, and other rules. We provide the dashboard, the redirect infrastructure, the analytics, and supporting features described in our documentation.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old.
  • The information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account, including the security of your password.
  • One person or legal entity per account. You may not share login credentials.

4. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use OhLinks to:

  • Distribute malware, phishing pages, or any content that compromises the security of others.
  • Cloak or obscure URLs in a way that violates any platform's policy (e.g. ad networks, social media platforms).
  • Distribute content that is illegal where you operate or where the link is opened (CSAM, terrorism, violations of intellectual property, etc.).
  • Send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) using OhLinks short URLs.
  • Attempt to bypass our rate limits, plan quotas, or security measures.
  • Reverse engineer the Service or scrape it at industrial scale.
  • Resell or rebrand the Service without a written commercial agreement.

We may suspend or terminate any account violating these rules without notice. Severe violations are reported to the relevant authorities.

5. Plans, billing, refunds

  • Free and paid plans are described on our pricing page.
  • Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, via Stripe. You authorize us to charge your saved payment method on each renewal.
  • You can cancel any time from the Stripe customer portal (Dashboard → Settings → Subscription). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no proration.
  • We don't offer refunds for partial periods. EU consumers may exercise the 14-day right of withdrawal as long as no significant usage has occurred during that period.
  • Prices may change for future renewals; we'll email you at least 30 days in advance.
  • Taxes (VAT) are added as required by your billing location.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows, third-party outages (Stripe, hosting provider, etc.), or unforeseen incidents may cause temporary unavailability. The redirect path is designed to degrade gracefully (Redis cache, edge caching) and is our top priority during incidents.

7. Your content; our license

The smart links you create, their metadata, and the destinations you point them to remain entirely yours. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, route, and display this content solely to operate the Service. We never claim ownership.

8. Termination

  • You can delete your account anytime from your settings — this immediately erases your data (see Privacy Policy) and stops all your smart links from resolving.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity.
  • Upon termination, all your active links stop working. Re-creating an account does not restore them.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim all warranties not expressly granted in these Terms, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes (clicks, installs, conversions) or compatibility with any third-party platform's policies (App Store, Play Store, ad networks, social platforms).

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data. This clause does not limit liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim arising out of (a) your violation of these Terms, (b) the content of the URLs you route through the Service, or (c) your violation of any third-party right.

12. Changes to the terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes are communicated via email and a notice in your dashboard at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute is submitted to the competent courts of France, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
